Barocco Foundation will be celebrating the European Early Music Day on the 21st of March 2017 at 12:30 pm at the Oratory of St. Francis in Valletta.
Through concerts, events, and happenings taking place simultaneously across Europe and broadcast online, the 21st of March 2017 will be an important celebration and a focal point for the promotion of this historical musical heritage. Early Music spans more than a millennium of music from the Middle Ages to the end of the 18th century.

The programme ensues with the German composer Telemann with his Fantasie in D major and the French composer Rameu’s three compositions: Les Sauvages, Les Cyclopes and La Dauphine. Marcello will represent the Italian music with his Concerto in D minor (Allegro-Adagio- Presto ).
The events are fund raising events for the Franciscan Church. Tickets for the lunchtime concerts, costing 8 euro, can be obtained from the venue itself half an hour before the concert begins. For more details phone 7968 0952 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
