Incentive Ideas

The flexibility of the Maltese Islands allows an array of options for activities to entertain and reward staff members for their hard work. Our DMCs, entertainment and team-building companies will come up with a programme that is set to impress. Entrust Malta to make a success of your incentive trip with creative themes and the events branding. Some options include:

Building your team
There's nothing better than a common objective or an intriguing challenge to bring out the team-player within. Get your staff to build and race a functioning life-size cardboard ‘boat' or ‘car'. Make the most of the climate, the beaches and the surrounding Mediterranean Sea with beach Olympics and water sport competitions, using jet-skis, yachts and speedboats. Alternatively send your people on a time-travelling quest with Medieval games and joust tournaments. Sounds like fun? It is!

Food glorious food
Tickle their taste-buds with a mouth-watering dinner. Go for something typically Maltese (which is very much in line with Mediterranean cuisine) or opt for an international menu; our caterers are eager to step up to the plate. And if you're looking for something less formal, you can always take your guests for a barbeque on one of our beaches or for a fenkata (rabbit meal a la maltaise.) Alternatively rent out one of the splendidly refurbished farmhouses on Gozo and get an expert chef to teach your team how to cook a particular dish... and savour it!

The very character of the landscape of the Maltese Islands make them popular sites for various sports and outdoor activities. Discover the Islands through a jeep rally; get lost and found - but leave your everyday stress behind. The more intrepid explorers can also experience the thrills of rock climbing or abseiling. Environmentally friendly guests, keen to travel in the carbon-friendly way can adventurously explore the terrain on a bicycle trail.

Chilled at Sea
The Mediterranean Sea is something worth beholding. Delegates looking for a relaxing activity to get away from it all can take in the fresh air as they experience a fishing trip on a luzzu (traditional Maltese fishing boat). Those who are looking for something more suave would take pleasure in a luxury yacht cruise, sailing them all the way from Malta to Comino and later to Gozo. If island-hopping isn't on the agenda a night-cruise or dinner aboard a traditional gullet would go down splendidly with your guests. And while on the topic of the sea, the more marine-inclined individuals would certainly appreciate the underwater caves of Gozo, renowned among divers the world-over.

The Good Life
Pamper your staff and give them some quality personal time with blissful massages, facials and the array of treatments available at the in-house spas of our hotels. Give delegates the opportunity of unwinding and relaxing by the pool for a less intensive stay. Alternatively, they can use their time at leisure to pleasantly meander through the quaint streets of the Maltese villages and stop for a café in a village square to watch the world drift by and meet some of the locals. If betting is the name of your game, an evening at one of the Island's casinos would enable you to take your chances... hopefully all the way to the bank!
