Every year, hundreds of articles are written about the Maltese Islands and published in the international press. These, together with dozens of radio and television programmes, and features on online magazines, contribute to spread the word about what Malta, Gozo and Comino have to offer to the discerning traveller.
The Malta Tourism Authority supports such initiatives by hosting journalists, travel writers and film crews on press trips to the islands. MTA also recognizes the best amongst these articles, photo reportages and programmes with the annual International Tourism Press Award.
