Great Siege of Malta & The Knights of St. John

The Great Siege of Malta and The Knights of St. John engages the audience in the early 12th century with the Pilgrims, travelling from Jaffa to Jerusalem in the Holy Land. The audience will suffer an attack from the Bedouins and the Saracens, meet the Knights at the time of the Crusades and join them in their journeys from Jerusalem to Acre, on to Cyprus, Rhodes and Malta.

There is an introduction to Grand Master La Vallette, as well as Suleiman in his imperial tent. Travel in the hold of one of the largest galleons of the Turkish armada on its way to Malta.

The audience also has the unique experience of walking on the sea at the Battle of Lepanto; walking along the streets of Valletta - then Europe’s newest fortified city and eventually leaving Malta with the Knights under the searching gaze of Napoleon Bonaparte.
