As there is so much to see around the Islands, sometimes it is better to experience a guided tour or cruise to understand the significance of what you are looking at. Take an hour or so to explore the magnificent Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour, taking in the cradle of Maltese history: Valletta, the Three Cities and Manoel Island. Alternatively, you can opt for half or full-day tours that cruise northwards to the sister islands of Gozo and Comino. A stop at Comino’s Blue Lagoon is a must and the limpid, azure waters are excellent for snorkelling.
