The Malta Arts Festival is a festival comprising of a wide variety of art forms, such as theatre, dance, music and art.  This celebration is centred on the Old Opera House and Freedom Square, which is appropriately transformed for this occasion.  Other venues include the Mediterranean Conference Centre, the MITP theatre the St. James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Valletta and the Grand Harbour Marina in Birgu.  This year the Malta Arts Festival runs from the 1st July till the 15th July.
