Information on the VisitMalta portal conforms to guidelines designed for easy navigation.

All pages are set up to allow access by versions of any browser ranging from Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 browsers and above.  The following information will help you understand what standards we have applied to the site and how to deal with certain file types.

Navigation
Each of the VisitMalta pages has a navigation section at the top. Each item in this menu has a dropdown menu underneath it to help you access 2nd tiered pages. Another non graphical navigation can be found at the bottom of the page. The bottom menu does not change to display the sub-sections for the main options.

Site specification
The VisitMalta portal has been designed with all users in mind. The standard outline guide for the site is for a resolution of 1024×768 using 256 colours.

Browser compatibility
The VisitMalta portal has been fully tested on browsers ranging from Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and above, Mozilla Firefox and Chrome. The VisitMalta portal uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to format the textual information within each page.

Book marking pages
To bookmark a particular page the user selects Favourites, Add to Favourites from the menu option within your browser.

Searching
To complete a search the user has to enter a word or collection of words into the text search box. Pressing the return key or clicking on the go button will present the user with a listing of documents which correspond to the search details. These results will be rated, the most complete matches will be listed first and decreasing in relevance as the user goes further down the list.

Submitting feedback
The VisitMalta portal supplies a contact form within the “Contact Us” section, to give users an opportunity to voice their comments on the service. Once the form has been completed the user must click on the submit button at the bottom of the page. This will forward the information to the Malta Tourism Authority. We cannot reply to every query but each one will be read and acted upon where necessary.

Saving pages
Any page displayed on your browser can be saved to your local drive. Select File, Save as from the menu option within your browser.

Information
Some pages within the VisitMalta portal are in other formats other than HTML or ASP.net. These are portable document files (pdf). To read these files the user requires Adobe Acrobat Reader software which can be freely downloaded from the Internet.
