For the 12th consecutive year, following the wine festival in Valletta, Delicata in close collaboration with Nadur local council will be taking its wine festival to the viticultural heart of Gozo, Nadur.
Starting on Friday 29th August the festival will go on each night and finish on Sunday 31st August. The festival will open at 7.00pm and the last wines will be served at 11.30pm before closing at midnight.
Over twenty quality Gozitan and Maltese D.O.K. wines will be available.
People who wish to try the wines need only purchase a souvenir wine glass for €12.00, which is theirs to keep.
Then just show the correct coloured wristband (there will be a different colour each night) and present the glass at any wine stand and visitors can try as many wines, as often as they like. There will also be a number of food stalls and live entertainment every night performed by Cash & Band, Upper Lip, Straight Ahead, This.co, Viral Vibe Drums, Round House Kick and Gozo Boy.
A shuttle service will be available between Nadur and the Mgarr ferries. The price of a return shuttle bus ticket is €2.00 per person.
