Malta Artisan Markets ‘Spring market’ edition will take place at Fort St Elmo on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th May from 11 am – 6 pm (last admission 5:30 pm). This month’s market will coincide with Heritage Malta’s Open day on Sunday 20th May (free admission).

An array of stalls will be set up in the Casemates area of Fort St Elmo. The market will host a variety of small businesses, food producers and independent artisans involved in producing original goods, unique arts, home décor, and accessories ‘trending’ locally. The aim is to expose small, independent businesses and local craftsmanship in a community setting, ‘marketplace’ ambient.

Highlights of the upcoming market include Weaving Malta, Alka Ceramics and potter Michael, graphic artist Jana Frost, upcycled furniture sth from nth by Marta Kurzyńska, Handed By recycled bags, Maxine Borg upholsterer, Sue’s Jewels, Samantha’s Designs tailor handmade clothes as well as Brewhaus Craft Beer, Billie D – Rollin Kitchen, Pucci Pucci Vegan Ice cream, Tan Tans fruit juices & smoothies and Coffee Circus.

Coinciding with the market on Sunday 20th May, Fort St. Elmo home to the National War Museum, will open to the public on free admission basis as part of Heritage Malta’s Open Day. Other attractions include Slackliner Malta (1-5pm) and CaraWonga exhibition & textile mosaic making workshop.

This is also a ‘Pet-Friendly market’ and Free Admittance.
