Qrendi - Destination of Excellence

The winner of the EDEN Award 2016 for tangible cultural heritage is Qrendi, a small village in the southern region of Malta.

A true gem, Qrendi hosts top attractions, including UNESCO world heritage historic sites like the Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Temples, various observation decks and towers, as well as the geological formations of Maqluba.

Qrendi is also a superb attraction for scuba divers, mainly due to the exceptional sites of Wied iż-Żurrieq and Blue Grotto.

Qrendi - the place where history, culture, scenery and nature intersect.
