Gozo<\/a> is renowned as the mythical island of Calypso<\/strong>, who drew Homer’s hero Ulysses to its shores for a seven-year hiatus. Though there are only five kilometres of sea between Malta and Gozo<\/a>, the islands are distinctly different from each other. Gozo<\/a> is a third of the size of Malta, more rural and tranquil<\/strong>, greener, less bustling but still full of life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
