storia ricca e variegata di oltre 7.000 anni, non stupisce che sulle isole maltesi vi siano ben tre siti Patrimonio Mondiale dell\u2019UNESCO, tra cui la splendida Valletta, l\u2019ipogeo di \u0126al-Saflieni, molto ben conservato, e 7 templi megalitici. Nel passato di Malta si sono susseguiti i Fenici, gli Arabi, i Cavalieri di San Giovanni oltre ai Francesi di Napoleone: un legame indissolubile con la storia.<\/p>\n<p>Ottenuta l\u2019indipendenza dagli inglesi nel 1964, dieci anni dopo Malta \u00e8 diventata una Repubblica, ed \u00e8 sempre riuscita ad adattarsi ai tempi e a crescere. L\u2019isola ha saputo stare al passo con i lussi dell\u2019era moderna, ma ovunque si percepisce lo spessore di un passato interessante e
