St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral At the end of Archbishop Street in Valletta is St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral. St. Paul's Church The church in Marsalforn is dedicated to Saint Paul Shipwrecked. As recorded in the Acts of the Apostles, St.Paul was shipwrecked on Malta, but according to tradition it was from Marsalforn that he subsequently embarked for Sicily and Rome. St. Paul's Collegiate Church The church is built over the grotto where according to tradition St. Paul was kept prisoner during his three months stay in Malta in 60 A.D. St. Publius' Church St Publius, one of the first Maltese to be converted to Christianity by St Paul during the latter’s short stay in Malta in 60 AD is Floriana's and one of Malta’s patron saints. The first stone of St Publis Parish Church was laid on 2nd August 1733 in the presence of Grand Master Vilhena. Sts. Peter and Paul Church In-Nadur's monumental church is dedicated to the apostles Saints Peter and Paul. Its foundation stone was laid in December 1760 but the façade and aisles were built at the beginning of the twentieth century to a design by the renowned Maltese architect Francesco Saverio Sciortino.
