The concert features chamber music celebrating one of the greatest composers in the world: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who is among the most significant and enduring popular composers of European classical music. His enormous output includes works that are widely acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music. The music will be performed by the Animae String Quartet, a newly-formed quartet that has already performed to great critical acclaim.
The Animae String Quartet Quartet is formed by international musicians hailing from Spain, Czech Republic and Malta; namely, Ana Martinez Tos and Inmaculada Munos Salguero on the violin, whilst Lucie Kucharova plays the cello and Karl Mifsud plays the viola.

The event is organized by Barocco Foundation with the collaboration of Palazzo de Piro and sponsored by Bank of Valletta. The concert will take place in the prestigious Sala Grande located in the upper floor of the Palazzo. Please note that the room is not accessible with a wheelchair. Doors will open at 7.30pm.
