Melodious Arias is the forthcoming lunchtime concert at the Oratory of St. Francis in Valletta on the 21st February 2017 at 12.30hrs. It will feature fascinating arias sung by Karmene Radovska accompanied by Julia Miller.
Latvia-born opera singer Karmene Radovska and Polish-born pianist Julia Miller will be giving a recital of melodious arias selected mostly from the Baroque period. The soprano will be singing Purcell’s If music be the food of love, Vivaldi’s Un certo non so che, Handel’s Verdi Prati from the opera “Alcina” and Mozart.’s Va, l’error mio palesa from his opera “Mitriade”. The programme is varied with sparkling piano works by Bach and Beethoven.
