VisitMalta Weekender Competition
Entries close at 23.45 on the 21st August 2026.
- Visit Malta will provide one prize, consisting of two return economy tickets from the UK or Ireland to Malta, valued at up to £250.00 per return ticket, including taxes, baggage allowance, and other costs.
- The flights are subject to availability. A six-week advance booking notice is required.
- The prize must be redeemed and used by 30th April 2027.
- Maximum baggage allowance: One checked bag (20 kg) per person and one carry-on bag (please refer to the airline’s website for acceptable dimensions). Any sports equipment and/or extra baggage must be purchased directly from the airline’s website.
- All other costs, including airline transfers, travel insurance, personal expenditure, and other incidental expenses, are not part of the prize.
- It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they have a valid passport and obtain any necessary visas and vaccinations for their trip.
- All elements of the prize are subject to availability and are non-transferable. There are no cash alternatives. The winner must be one of the travellers.
- Once flight arrangements are booked, details of the booking will be sent. It will not be possible to amend any dates or details thereafter.
- Events beyond the promoter’s control may render the prize draw or the awarding of the prize impossible. In such cases, the promoter may vary or amend the promotion at its absolute discretion, and the entrant agrees that no liability shall be attached to the promoter as a result.
- Visit Malta reserves the right to withdraw any prize if the terms and conditions are not adhered to. Airline T&Cs also apply.
- Visit Malta accepts no responsibility if flights are cancelled or changed after booking due to reasons beyond its control. Winners are always advised to check online for flight departure and arrival times.
- You must provide your passport information to the MTA before your flights are booked. It is your responsibility to submit accurate information via the link provided by VisitMalta, as you may be refused boarding if not. Please send via email to lindsey[email protected].
- The airline tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods or services, nor can they be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Miles and mileage accrual will not be permitted on these tickets.
- A three-night stay for 2 adults, bed and breakfast at a 4* hotel in Malta,
- VisitMalta will pick the hotel and confirm this in advance of travel – the winner will not be allowed to choose.
- Blackout dates for the prize include 24th December 2026 – 2nd January 2027, and 22nd March – 1st April 2027
- Return airport transfers are from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the airport only while in Malta.
- The winner(s) will be drawn at random after the competition has closed.
- This will be posted via recorded delivery to the winner (home address must be provided).
- VisitMalta UK cannot guarantee the number of signatures on the shirt.

- When the winner is drawn and contacted, the match confirmation will sent across – tickets are usually sent out by the club 48 hours in advance of the actual match day
- The tickets are not exchangeable for any cash alternative or another prize and are not permitted to be sold.

Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and accordingly the promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attached to the promoter as a result thereof
We reserve the right to withhold or withdraw the Prize if, in our sole discretion, it appears that a person claiming it does not fully meet the Eligibility Criteria, if a entry is cancelled or invalidated prior to the Closing Date, or we deem the entry to have been made fraudulently, invalidly or using automated means. We reserve the right to require reasonable proof of identity and eligibility from any person claiming a Prize.
Any additional costs which may be incurred by this Prize Draw in the context of participation, such as internet costs and other additional services are not included in the Prize Draw and must be paid by you separately.
No alternative reward will be provided in whole or in part for the Prize, except that in the event of circumstances outside of our control we reserve the right to substitute similar rewards of equal value. The Prize is subject to promotional availability and is not transferable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept any responsibility or liability under or in connection with this Prize Draw and/or these Terms and Conditions (including without limitation as a result of technical fault, computer or electronic malfunction, or incomplete, illegible, late, lost or fraudulent entries). Any statutory rights you have are not affected.
Insofar as permitted by law, we will not be responsible or liable to compensate you, or accept any liability, for any personal loss, expense or damage in connection with this Prize Draw or accepting or using the Prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to cancel, modify this Prize Draw and/or these Terms and Conditions, at any time before you have accepted it/them, including but not limited to terminating or withdrawing the Prize at any time.
If any paragraph in these Terms and Conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these Terms and Conditions
