FEAST OF OUR LADY OF THE LILY

The Feast of Our Lady of the Lily is celebrated in the town of Mqabba in Malta.

On the 16th and 17th June, spectacular fireworks displays will be held in Mqabba. On Saturday the show will start around 21.30hrs which will be followed by an outstanding mechanised ground fireworks display from 23.00hrs till midnight. On Sunday, fireworks will start at 19.15hrs; marking the start of the procession with the Statue of Our Lady, and continuing throughout the evening till 22.00hrs.  Concurrently, musical programmes and various band marches will be held in the centre and main streets of the town.  

In Mqabba, there are various historical places which can be of interest to locals and tourists alike. These range from the village church (which will be decorated during the feast) to the club’s premises.
