FEAST OF ST. GAETAN

The Feast of St. Gaetan is celebrated in the town of Ħamrun in Malta. The feast is widely regarded as the signature event for the much acclaimed ‘Marċ tal-brijju’ (or ‘festive march’) which is held on the day of the feast, starting in mid-morning and ending in the afternoon. The rivalry that exists between Ħamrun’s two main band clubs makes this celebration one of the most exciting festivities in the whole of Malta.
