St Publius' Church

St Publius was one of the first Maltese to be converted to Christianity by St Paul during the latter's stay in Malta. He is now considered to be Floriana's patron saint.

The first stone of this church was laid on 2nd August 1733 under Grandmaster de Vilhena. This church went through a number of transformations
