Event Approval Guide
Please note that all events are subject to approval, and VisitMalta reserves the right to edit any submitted event information to ensure consistency of style and tone.
To be included, events should appeal to visitors of the Maltese Islands. Please make sure to upload your event images with the correct dimensions. The images should be copyright-free and should not include logos or text. Please refer to our approval guidelines below, which detail the types of events we will list.
Examples of the types of events that will not be included are:
Standard services offered by commercial establishments (e.g., Sunday Buffet at a restaurant, Happy Hour at a bar, Winter Sale at a clothing shop, and similar activities.)
Community-targeted activities (e.g., coffee mornings, yoga/zumba classes, etc.)
Events of a political nature
Regular comedy/music nights
Day trips and tours
Personal events (e.g., weddings, baptisms, etc.) and solicitations (e.g., auditions, job interviews, etc).
Events held in a location that is not licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority
Events that are only open to, or are of interest to, a narrow audience (e.g., members-only club meetings, etc).
Depending on the volume of events being processed, it can take anywhere from 2-5 days for your event to appear on our website. Therefore, please submit your event well in advance of the event date to ensure maximum exposure on our platforms.
