Palazzo Costanzo, Villegaignon Street, Mdina, Malta

Medieval Times

Located in Palazzo Costanzo, an elegant Baroque palace built by the Costanzo noble family in the late 17th Century, Medieval Times offers a medieval adventure, using electronic wizardry in light, sound and smell.

The 14th and 15th century pilgrimage starts from the very beginning, showing builders actually erecting medieval palazzos. Characters such as a butcher, plasterer and a sentry guarding the medieval walls are introduced to the audience. Family life is depicted in a carpenter’s house, displaying blacksmiths, lords, market sellers in street corners and much more.

Storyboards are available in English, French, German and Italian. A restaurant and café are also on the premises.
