If you’ve ever been told that wine and chocolate don’t mix - then think again. Some dark country of origin chocolate works perfectly with selected red wines, while white wines and dessert wines can also work with anything from plain chocolate to sea salted caramel truffles – so long as you know what you’re doing! During this event, the Malta Chocolate Factory will pair a tasting selection of Maltese wines with six of their premium handmade chocolates.

They will discuss the wine, where it comes from, the flavour notes, and compare and contrast these with each other. There will also be another discussion focusing on how the chocolates are made and the individual flavour notes of each. With each of the wines, the Malta Chocolate Factoy will pair one or two chocolate truffles or pralines to show you how chocolates and wines together can enhance each of the other flavours.
