The Malta International Contemporary Art Space (MICAS), in collaboration with the Serpentine Galleries, London, proudly presents the exhibition Exomind (Deep Water) by ground-breaking artist Pierre Huyghe. Situated within the dynamic ecosystem of Wied il - Luq, Buskett, Exomind (Deep Water) lies between the continuity and separation of interconnected systems. It comprises the cast of a sculpture of a blinded, crouching, female figure, a living beehive, and a set of exchanges with the flora and fauna that surround it.

On the morning of Sunday the 13th of October, MICAS artistic director Ruth Bianco will lead a tour of Pierre Huyghe: Exomind (Deep Water) accompanied by the Golden Island team, beekeepers Ray Sciberras and Denise Camilleri. Meeting point will be under the tent, by the parking area, at 10.15 AM.

The MICAS Art Walk is subject to weather conditions on the day, and may have to be changed or cancelled in case of inclement weather. It is highly recommended that comfortable shoes are worn.

The MICAS Art Walk forms part of the MICAS International Art Weekend and it is being organised with the kind support of Air Malta, Heritage Malta, Malta Tourism Authority, Ministry for Justice, Culture and Local Government, Restoration Directorate, ERA, Ambjent Malta, Kunsill Lokali Is-Siġġiewi, and the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage.
